I offer these works in the hope that they may serve as a catalyst, a point to ponder, for others who may be on their own path of individuation. My need to paint therefore is driven by my urge to record or maybe punctuate certain stages in my life, as well as the pleasure I derive in expressing them on canvas. I discovered that I could approximate concepts and ideas through the use of universal symbols and colours and so elements of surrealism crept into my work.
